- Games List
-
The list contains all the games allowed to be configured with XP Firewall Control from within the game. Any network game can be protected with XP Firewall Control. However, to control a game network security from within the game, the game must be DirectX 8.x/9.x compatible and listed in the Games List. The games can be freely added/removed to/from the list (not from the computer, of course). - After the game is added into the list, it is automatically added to Programs List as a common Windows application and can be managed as common Windows application via Programs List. You can manage the games directly from the Games List exactly as any other application from Programs List. However, if an application (actually the game) is listed as game, you can manage the game security from within the game, without a need to suspend or interrupt the game even for a second.
- After the game is launched you can press Windows + "1" hotkey (configured in Settings tab) and in-game security configuration dialog will be popuped.
It shows the game file executable name, the security zone name with the ability to immediately change and the list of security rules consisting the zone.
