- VistaFirewallControl can be integrated in a third party product/system to control applications access following the third party system requirements. VistaFirewallControl can be represented in several forms
- native Windows 32 (or 64) bit DLL for direct usage
- InProc 32/64 bit COM server
- OutProc 32/64 bit COM server
- 32/64 bit COM server in the form of Windows Service
VistaFirewallControl can be used in Vista based systems to control user applications activity to limit redundant traffic (application auto updates, for instance) in expensive (satellite) network channels.
